Today’s featured scholarship is the $3000 Sepmer Solaris Scholarship. There is also a $500 prize for high school seniors. Here are the details you need to know:
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a current freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student, or attending a military academy.
Applicants must have a cumulative college grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale, and be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university between May 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023.
Proof of your enrollment in the form of a college transcript, class schedule, or a letter from your institution. Your document should be in a non-editable format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG or JPG. We don’t accept 1-20 forms as proof of scholarship, acceptance letters, or deposit emails.

Applicant must be a current senior high school student.
Applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale, and be enrolled full-time at an accredited high school between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
Proof of your enrollment in the form of a class schedule, letter from your institution or photo of your high school ID with a valid expiration date. Your document should be in a non-editable format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG or JPG.
Applicants attending military academies are eligible for this scholarship.
Application Requirements:
College Students: Answer the following question with at least 1,000 words: “How can solar and renewable energy help local communities?”
High School Seniors: Submit 750+ words about “How do you see Solar Power changing our country in the future?”.

This scholarship has a topical essay requirement.
One full week of the Scholarship Summer Camp will be devoted to learning how to write topical essays, and will include professional feedback and review of student’s essays. Please note that the Scholarship Summer Camp is for high school students only.
